• So basically, the forums are dead right now, the comments here have tons of spam, my smart things kit is still useless without an iOS device, and there is no IDE available yet. Have I missed anything else, I’m just going to sadly put the box in the closet and just forget about it for a year until I can finally use this.

We are taking as many measures as we can to automatically keep spammers out but it is a constant balance between keeping them out and inconveniencing the community.       • Thank you for replying to my sad little rant. I appreciate that you guys are trying to tackle so much and do not hold any of this against you. I will continue to wait for the beta in order to use my sensors but will download the IDE and see what I can mess around with for now.

        • I’m an Android developer, so I understand the frustration since all my real devices are Android. I dug out an old iOS device just to try things out, and believe me, when they get it working for Android, you’ll find it worth the wait.         • If you go to the build.smartthings.com main home page there is a large banner in the middle saying ”Click here to register and access smartthings developer tools”.
